Our Mission
The Rock, “Where Jesus Christ is the Main Attraction”
At Rock of Faith Family Church, we believe that faith is more than a word it’s work in action. Ours is a ministry built on service, love, and community. Every day, we strive to live out the Gospel by reaching beyond the walls of the church and into the heart of our city.
We are a family-oriented church whose mission is to reach, rebuild, restore, and refine the family by knowing Christ and making Christ known. But we don’t just speak it, we live it. We believe that when we serve others, we serve Christ Himself. That’s why our hands, our hearts, and our resources are always reaching outward.
A Church With a Heart for the Community
At Rock of Faith, we take the call to “love thy neighbor” seriously. We believe the church should be a beacon of hope, a lighthouse for the lost, a helping hand to the hurting, and a refuge for those in need.
You’ll find us in the streets just as often as in the sanctuary serving meals, collecting clothing, and partnering with local food banks and shelters to care for God’s people. Whether it’s donating to the homeless, feeding families in need, or supporting youth programs, our mission is to make a lasting difference through acts of faith and love.
Our ministry extends to those who are often overlooked, the hungry, the displaced, the single parent, and the struggling soul. Because here at The Rock, we believe the church isn’t confined to a building; it’s carried in the hearts of those who serve.
Serving Through Time, Talent, and Testimony
We encourage every member to use their God-given gifts to serve others. Whether you’re leading prayer, packing food boxes, visiting the sick, or mentoring youth your time and talent matter. Service is our worship, and giving is our praise in action.
Our pastor often reminds us, “You can’t beat God's giving, no matter how hard you try. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try!”
That’s why we work to build a culture of generosity not just in finances, but in compassion, time, and presence. Every act of kindness, every hand extended, and every smile shared is a reflection of Christ’s love shining through us.
